What is community participation, and how does it work with NDIS?

How is community participation funded through the NDIS?
Community participation is funded through your plan under the NDIS Core Supports category, specifically Category 4: Assistance with Social, Economic, and Community Participation. If you don’t have funds allocated in Category 4, you or your support coordinator may be able to request using funds from another category to cover these supports, depending on your plan’s flexibility and approval.
