How many hours of cleaning can I receive from my home care package?
Here’s a quick guide to how many hours of support you can typically expect to receive with different Home Care Packages. With these hours, you can decide to use them on cleaning services, in-home support, nursing services or other services:
- Level 1 package: 2 hours per week.
- Level 2 package: 3 hours per week.
- Level 3 package: 8 hours per week.
- Level 4 package: 14 hours per week.
Is a level 1 home care package enough for cleaning?
A level 1 home care package provides approximately 2 hours of supports per week for care and support services. You can use these hours towards cleaning services.
Are there cleaning services that are not covered by my home care package?
